ABOUT THE TEAM
Quality Assurance Specialist is an essential member of SEEC’s Quality Assurance Team under the Knowledge Management Department. This position helps to ensure quality supports to people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The role supports incident investigations by collecting required documents, participating in interviews, writing reports and recommendations, and supporting the roll out of action plans to enhance services.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL:
- Assist with incident tracking/reporting, investigations/audits, and in-person follow-up as needed
- Support the design of enhancement and corrective actions plans and a schedule for implementing and tracking outcomes
- Facilitate training on Incident Reporting and DDA’s Policy on Reportable Incidents and Investigations
- Support the quarterly tracking of agency Quality Assurance goals
- Assist with Human Rights Committee meeting preparation, and keep and distribute minutes of the quarterly meetings.
- Complete and maintain training required for the role.
- Other duties as assigned
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree or an Associate Degree with at least one year of experience related to the role
- Advanced reasoning abilities, good judgment and a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Experience with researching, collecting and assembling diverse information
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills. The use of person-first language is essential
- An appreciation for SEEC’s values of person-centered services
